Terri Philbrick, LICSW, Social Work Advisor
Terri Philbrick LICSW is the Social Work Advisor for the Institute for Solution-Focused Therapy. She is the Clinical Director at Perkins, a comprehensive human services agency serving children and adolescents with complex mental health and learning challenges. Terri supervises all clinical and health care services, and provides professional development training for clinicians and other staff. She has worked within the foster care system, in home family treatment, and as an outpatient therapist for over 25 years. In addition, Terri is passionate about her work in the field of bereavement and delivers compassionate seminars on grief and loss. Throughout her career, she has taught at area community colleges and universities, and has conducted countless forums on topics relevant to her expertise.
Terri has a Certificate in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the University of Massachusetts Child Trauma Training Center, a Master’s Degree from Lesley University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from Boston College.
